
Entry Categories
Individual and Team Entries are welcome. All forms must be completed for each Individual swimmer and for each relay team.
Each participant’s name, date of birth, participating events should be clearly written on the form.
Best times must be entered as well. Estimation is encouraged if the participant do not have a recorded best time. This will greatly help ensure a smooth meet progression.
Each participant is required to complete and submit the Release of Liability Form.

Rules and Regulations
The Malaysia Masters International Swimming Championship 2025 shall be conducted in accordance with current World Aquatics Masters Rules, except where specifi ed otherwise for the purpose of this competition.

There shall be no limit to the number of entries per event by respective Teams/Clubs and swimmers may compete in any number of events offered under that particular age group.

All events shall be run based on time World Aquaticsl basis irrespective of age group. Hence, it is compulsory for swimmers to submit the closest estimate of their time.
In events with more than 8 entries, the swimmers will be seeded in the age appropriate races according to their times submitted.
Placings shall be determined based on the respective age groups.
Medals shall be awarded to the first three placings in each event (by age group)
The Malaysia Masters International Swimming Championship Trophy shall be presented to the victorious Team/Club during the Championship. The winning team shall be determined by the highest total number of points collected by their respective swimmers in individual and relay events.
There shall be an Overall Best Male and Female Swimmer. This shall be determined by the most points collected. The point allocation is based on the following:
Each 1st position 9 points
Each 2nd position 7 points
Each 3rd position 6 points
Each 4th position 5 points
Each 5th position 4 points
Each 6th position 3 points
Each 7th position 2 points
Additional points shall be awarded for Record Broken 5 points (for 1st position only).
Record Equaled 3 points (for 1st position only). Points for breaking a record will not be awarded to swimmers winning an event that has never been swum before.
Should there be a tie, the tie-breaker shall be based on the total number of points awarded for Record Broken and Record Equalled
On-the-day poolside entries will not be accepted. Substitution of swimmers or alteration of events for swimmers is not permitted.
Relays shall consist of four swimmers; each swimmer must be registered with the same club. No swimmer may represent more than one club or team. Limit two teams from a club in a relay event.
Appeal Procedure: All appeals must be submitted on the appropriate forms, accompanied by a RM500.00 fee within half an hour of the results being offi cially announced. If known before the competition, such appeal must be made before the signal to start is given. Fees will be refundable if the appeal is not upheld. The Chairman of the Jury of Appeal shall be appointed by the Organiser. A maximum of six and minimum of four other members of the Jury of Appeal shall comprise the following:
a) Secretary of the Organizing Committee or representative; and
b) A maximum of fi ve and a minimum of three representatives from amongst the participating clubs not involved in the dispute.
The Chairman of the Jury of Appeal shall appoint the representatives.
Swimmers must be aware of the need to be physically fit and well prepared. All participating swimmers must complete and sign a waiver form. The waiver form must be submitted together with the registration form. Otherwise, registration will be deemed not successful and KuRenang Swimming Club shall not be held accountable.
The 10th Speedo Malaysia Masters International Swimming Championship 2025 organising committee reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event.
